I am a software engineer based in New York. I have lived in Singapore, Vietnam, China, the SF Bay Area, and now New York City.
I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a double major in Computer Science and Data Science (BA).
I currently work at Citadel, and was previously at **Amazon Web Services** and ArcLab.io. I thrive in a highly focused work environment where personal impact is prominent and seen.
I enjoy indie, electronic, and folk music, watching/making films, and going to new places.
Although not Buddhist myself, I have a deep fascination with [Mahayana] Buddhism and have ventured into the Tibetan autonomous regions of Gansu and Qinghai in search of less-known monasteries and the daily lives of those taking refuge in the Three Jewels.
I am a certified Tea Master - mostly drinking aged sheng & shu pu’er, anxi oolong, and dancong.
I boulder almost every day, and scuba dive whenever I find myself in the tropics.
